About three years ago, our founder had the opportunity to sit down with the founder of one of our amazing sponsors, Children of Incarcerated Parents, to talk about the mission and vision behind Take A Step Forward.
Today, we’re working hard to finalize the launch of our halfway house by next year—an important step toward creating a safe, supportive space for previously incarcerated fathers as they transition back into their communities and reconnect with their children.
Looking back reminds us that every big vision starts somewhere. We’re grateful for the people who believed in this mission early on and for everyone continuing to help us take each step forward. ❤️
