Take A Step Forward is a nonprofit organization and our mission is simple. We are here to support and improve the lives and connections of previously incarcerated fathers and their children by providing meaningful opportunities and solutions to both parties through community awareness as we advocate for their perseverance through unresolved issues.
We were founded in 2023 on the principles of integrity with the need to raise awareness for voices not heard. Our commitment to serving and fostering success to incarcerated fathers and their children began with our founder and her passion for helping those who are underserved. Her high regard for others and bringing services to those in need, gave rise to Take A Step Forward. We have continued to grow since and make our mission possible with the gracious help of our partners and sponsors who share the same values and beliefs. As we progress and expand our purpose and services, we can assure you that our mission and commitment will always remain the same.
